Hi. How are you going? I’m Ian, aka Dr Glam, aka Thaddius Grime, aka Mr Glad. Phew. This is in no particular order, but I’m a musician (in various guises), a dad, an author, an occasional fisherman, and a (kind’ve accidental) academic.(Re the latter, I woke up one morning in 2002 with a headache, a tattoo on my shoulder featuring six bars of Beethoven, and a one year contract to be an assistant lecturer at Otago University. I’m still there . . .)  

I’ve come to the realisation – and about time too, frankly – that diversity is what floats my boat, and so this spiffy new website is designed to be a hub for displaying my eclectic pursuits. Oh, and I love David Bowie.
